Maybe recent trailers were just showing off the switch ver and not pc ver. I really hope the switch version will be 1080p docked, 720p handheld with stable 60 fps and the pc version won’t be the switch ver ported over to pc. It could also be that they planned at the beginning of development to have detailed backgrounds, at least to some degree and then realized that it would be too much work, so they started to blur already made backgrounds out. HK on the switch is decent… but it definitely feels like the inferior ver and pointless to play (esp on handheld) if you already have the pc ver. I feel silksong could actually work very well on the switch bc hornet’s sprite is bigger than the knight’s which makes it better for smaller screens.
